The Pictures on this page represent just a few of the many custom window panels I have made over the
years as well as some of the smaller gift items that I make on a regular basis.  I hope they will give you a
feel for my work.  If you are interested in talking to me about a special piece for your home...window,

David Haring

David Haring has been working with stained glass for 28
years.  His fascination with creating beautiful “pictures” using
the solid/liquid translucence of glass is reflected in his eclectic
style.  Nature has always influenced his work, whether he is
creating a panel in a traditional Victorian, Craftsman, or Art-
Deco styles, or a natural scene.  Dave was born in the Upper
Peninsula of Michigan.  His time spent there and summers in
Northern Minnesota gave him the run of the area’s rivers,
forests, and lakes.  Several extended trips throughout the
western states, the Yukon, British Columbia, and Alaska have
also inspired his designs.  Today, daily inspiration lies a few
feet from his door in Belltown, Pa.   His home and Cat’s Eye
Stained Glass Studio is on the Clarion River surrounded by
the Allegheny National Forest and state game lands.  Both
Dave and his wife Melody, also a stained glass artist, are
supervised in the studio by their cat, Tibet.

In addition to commission work, Dave does several shows a
year. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen
and the Elk County Council on the Arts, and is a roster artist
for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts program “Arts in
Education”.  He has been featured in Pennsylvania Magazine,
the Center Daily Times, and the Tri-County Sunday, and has
been on the WPSX program Taking Note.   Dave was an
invited artist at the Chesapeake Bay Association’s show, “We
All Live Downstream”, held at the Capitol Building in
Harrisburg, as well as at “The Art of Healing”, an exhibition
held in conjunction with a hospital dedication in Philadelphia.
Their stained glass has won awards at two of the HUB exhibits
at Penn State University, State College, Pa.
