Ginny Davis Baggett of Clearfield, PA, has been
creating colorful limited-edition silkscreen prints and
notecards for more than 30 years. Her technique of
using multiple screens of hand-cut stencil film for
each color of oil-based ink provides interesting
textures and layered effects. Many of her original
serigraphs have the free-flowing appearance of a
watercolor. Form and color in flowers, patterns and
shapes of rocks and foliage, arrangements of
interiors and still-lifes, have been the chief
inspiration for her works.
Ginny has won a First prize for graphics at the 3
Rivers Art Festival in Pittsburgh and is a veteran
ixhibitor and award-winner at the Central PA Festival
of the Arts in State College.
