Anthony Gomes
Starting out as a painter I eventually evolved into
sculpting. I enjoy experiencing the tactile nature of
the three dimentional object. My inspiration comes
predominently from the human form, sometimes
representational and other times abstracted. I find
pleasure in the contrast between smooth and
textured areas. It is important to me that each view
of my work is equally interesting and that the piece
has balance.
